What's the best way to contact Santa's Elves?

Fill out the contact form on our website or call (314) 899-9997. As the holiday season approaches, calls become harder to answer in real time, so the form is the fastest path to a quote.

Do you carry general liability and workers' compensation?

Yes. We carry both general liability insurance and workers’ compensation for every job we perform.

Are you licensed?

Yes — Santa’s Elves is licensed with the State of Missouri, verifiable via the Missouri Secretary of State.

What areas do you service?

St. Louis County and St. Louis City, including Kirkwood, Webster Groves, Des Peres, Clayton, Ladue, Maplewood, University City, Town & Country, Creve Coeur, Chesterfield, Affton, Fenton, Wildwood, Olivette, Ballwin and Maryland Heights. How long have you been in business?

Santa’s Elves has been in business since 2012 — over 13 years of holiday lighting experience.

Who founded Santa's Elves?

Matt Wooldridge, who has 15+ years in the St. Louis landscaping industry and also founded our sister company, Landscape Lighting Guys, LLC.

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes. Quote requests are accepted any time of year and estimates are always free.

When should I request a quote?

Anytime. We start gearing up for the season in July, so booking sooner is recommended for the best schedule.

Do I need to be home for the quote or installation?

Not for the quote — if we can pull a clear image of your home from Google Street View we’ll work from that. If not, we’ll ask you to send one. You don’t need to be home for installation either.

What kind of lights do you use?

Commercial-grade LED bulbs in C9, C7, and 5MM sizes — solid colors (red, blue, green, orange, purple), multi-color, warm white, pure white, and cool white.

Can I pick the color combination?

Yes — any solid color or combination of colors. We’ll walk you through the options during your quote.

Do you sell or rent the lights?

All holiday lighting and decor is rented. Each setup is custom-cut and designated to your home, but the rental model lets you change your service year to year and never worry about replacement costs.

Are the lights designated to my house?

Yes. When take-down happens, your lights and decor are stored in a tote labeled with your name and address. You’ll never get someone else’s lights.

What white options do you offer?

Warm white (similar to traditional clear incandescent), pure white (crisp bright white), and cool white (with a slight blue tone).

Do you offer pre-lit wreaths and garland?

Yes. Pre-lit LED wreaths from 12″ to 72″ diameter, and pre-lit LED garland in 9′ x 12″ sections.

Do you handle in-season maintenance?

Yes. If anything goes out or comes loose during the season, we come back out and fix it — typically within 48 hours.

When do take-downs happen?

All take-downs are completed during the month of January. We pride ourselves on a quick, clean removal.

Where are the lights stored in the off-season?

In our facility, in totes labeled with your name and address until the next season.

When are payments due?

Invoices are sent upon completion of work and payment is due at that time, unless you’ve taken the pre-pay discount.

Do you offer a pre-pay discount?

Yes — please ask during your quote for the current pre-pay discount terms.

Do you service commercial properties?

Yes. We handle both residential and commercial holiday lighting throughout the St. Louis metro.

What if products need to be replaced over the years?

No additional fees. Because the lights are rented, when products eventually wear out we replace them at no extra cost to you.

Our team works year-round through our sister company, Landscape Lighting Guys (LLGuys.com), offering everything from maintenance to new installation of permanent landscape lighting.

We've always done our own outdoor decorating, and it was so great to not have to get out there in the cold to put up and take down the lights. Great selection of light choices.  I love that they will check throughout the season to make sure all our lights are working and secured on our roof.
