Can I control it from my phone?

Yes. The system is app-controlled — colors, patterns, brightness, and timing all set from your phone.

Will it work for holidays beyond Christmas?

Any occasion. Halloween, Fourth of July, Valentine’s Day, school colors, anniversaries, birthdays, playoff runs — program it however you like.
